My Vintage Encounter

Meet Chrisanthy Christoforou

I met this gorgeous young lady near Leicester Square Station.

Loved her vintage-inspired look and I just had to get a snap...

In true vintage style, her look encapsulates femininity.

Her hat is just amazing...slightly tilted to one side with feather detail.
 Love her yellow gloves!! They add a unique touch to her look. 
Its the perfect accessory for winter *10 points*

Our vintage vixen is not shy in front of the camera, she flashes a smile and strikes a pose.
For these last two pictures she swapped her daily-specs for these cute warfarers.

Its always a joy meeting vintage vixens/blokes around London because once you get to speak to them, you're most likely to find out that they're not originally from here...It puts a big smile on my face to know that many youngsters, globally, are spreading vintage-lovin' :)

I went for an equestrian look. I stuck to black and beige.
The scarf adds some colour to these neutrals.

Steph (my roommate) wore these amazing suede and leather
shorts paired with a cute black top which has brown and blue patterns,
denim jacket and black boots to seal the deal... *10 points*

I'm loving how Steph transforms her looks by a change of jackets.
The first is safari-inspired and the second has an abstract pattern. 
With either one of these jackets she looks amazing!!

My Top 3 Vintage Inspirations

I spotted this vintage vixen in Top Shop.  I love how she encapsulates both androgyny
and femininity, with a perfect balance of lace, patterned tights and panama hat. 

Top Shop never falls short of vintage vixens, I met yet another, in the vintage-clothes section.
She was scouring through the racks, in search of a unique piece I presume. Her coat was gorgeous
and her bag just added that extra wow-factor to her look.

I met another vintage-lover, this time in Urban outfitters. He wore a green blazer, which was perfectly matched with  green and maroon checked trousers. The flashes of white shirt and socks just made his look all the more unique.
The maroon brogues were the cherry on top.

As I posted this look on Lookbook, Jamie Cullum's song came to mind ''What a difference a day made''. The words which popped in my head were ''my yesterday was blue dear...but today, I'm apart of you dear'' lol! I think the colour of the dress inspired this. This photoshoot was for People Magazine (South Africa) Teen Section Cover. I had plenty of fun changing into lovely outfits and meeting new people...*HAPPY MEMORIES* :)
